PPA60 - Spongy Spooky Halloween

This week's PPA challenge (http://www.palspaperarts.com/) is a wicked one! Check out the site to see all the wicked, good fun they are having sharing cards in the Halloween theme.

For this card, I went sponge crazy. I started with the partially colored-in tree stamp. Using a combination of Basic Black and Whisper White, I sponged a foggy background over the entire card. Then I punched a 1-1/4' circle and used it as a mask to sponge in More Mustard and Daffodil Delight for the moon. To create the fog effort over the moon, take the edge of your sponge and swipe white across. Finally to complete the card, I added a two step stampin' process with the 'Goblin Greetings' message.

Mojo Monday 156 - Birthday Striping

Another Monday, Another Mojo. This week's sketch allows you to get creative with patterns and stripes. Check our the site for more examples of fellow stampers. (http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/)

For this project, I used an embossing folder with the Big Shot to create the patterns stripes of paper. I also used a striped ribbon in Daffodil Delight to provide another level of striping across the card.

PPA59 – Celebrity Color Challenge

PPA (http://www.palspaperarts.com/) offers a weekly challenge to help you get through that mid-week slump. Each Wednesday you can find a new sketch, color challenge, or a variety of other options to get your creativity going.

A beautiful speckling effect can be created by layering stamp over stamp over stamp. If you add a set which features the two stampin' option you can generate a dimension effect. To complete the look, I added a few stamped and cut out flowers and added a simple message.

Mojo Monday 155 - Beautiful Bunch

It's Mojo Monday time! First week of the month means contest, prizes, fame, fortune! Or you can just play for the love of the mojo. It's a great site to get alittle kick start to your creativity each week. Check it out here - http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/

This card features a fresh bunch of beautiful flowers. The two-step stampin' technique was used to created the dimensional effect. I stamped the images on Very Vanilla paper and cut out each one leaving about a quarter inch border around the image. Several of the new Stampin' Up colors help create the bright and rich palette. Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango, and Baja Breeze.
