Bringing in Spring with a Swipe (baby wipe that is!)

Spring time is the perfect time to try a new technique. By folding a baby wipe in quarters and dropping a few dots of ink, you can create for own stamp pad. Pink, green, and blue ink dots created the elegant spring coloring for my flower petals in this card.

Elegant Season's Greetings

Start your season with an elegant ornament display. This card features three dangling ornaments. Each ornament is a two-toned color combination. In order to create the ornament, I stamped the image on vanilla paper and punched it out. Secondly, I punched a slightly larger circle out of the same color as the ink used for the stamped image. Simple green ribbon creates the dangling effect.

PPA115 - Silly Spooky Spider Card

This Silly Spooky Spider is a work of punch art!
Each leg is two pieces of oblong window punch cut in half. His scary teeth - the points of a small star punch cut off. I recommend only attaching part of each leg to the card, leaving the ends un-attached. This gives the cards great movement and dimension. Card measures a standard 4 1/4" by 5 1/2".

Simple Chic Sunflower Thank You Greeting Card

This card was a personal challenge for a 'Single Layer'. No ribbon, no layers, and no embellishments. The card features a simple chic sunflower. By stamping the petals in different colors, you have the ability to create a layered look. For this card I used More Mustard and So Saffron. The simple tag 'thank you' in chocolate ship completes the look.

PPA60 - Spongy Spooky Halloween

This week's PPA challenge (http://www.palspaperarts.com/) is a wicked one! Check out the site to see all the wicked, good fun they are having sharing cards in the Halloween theme.

For this card, I went sponge crazy. I started with the partially colored-in tree stamp. Using a combination of Basic Black and Whisper White, I sponged a foggy background over the entire card. Then I punched a 1-1/4' circle and used it as a mask to sponge in More Mustard and Daffodil Delight for the moon. To create the fog effort over the moon, take the edge of your sponge and swipe white across. Finally to complete the card, I added a two step stampin' process with the 'Goblin Greetings' message.
