Sponged Lattice Design Card

This card utilizes a great technique traditionally used on walls, Sponging! It's started by obtaining a cut out of a design. In this case, I used the lattice cut-out from Stampin' Up. Then, by using a sponge dabbed on your ink pad, sponge all over and around the cut-out. Simple sponging over the Lattice die-cut creates a beautiful design.

Heavy vs. light sponging can easily change the intensity of the coloring and appearance.

I would also recommend sponging in multiple colors. It can create a fabulous blending and shading of colors.
